Andrew’s Obituary Andrew James Scheier Sr., age 57 of Marquette, passed away with family at his side on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at UW Hospital in Madison, after battling cancer for the past 10 months. Andy was born on December 26, 1961, son of Lavern and Donna (Schwark) Scheier. He was united in marriage to Denise Winnie on August 27, 1983. Andy enjoyed working for Quade Construction for the past 35 years. He was a member of the Puckaway Rod & Gun Club and the Grand River Turkey Club. Andy enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, morel hunting and bird watching. Andy is survived by his wife, Denise; three children, Tina Scheier, Lisa Scheier both of Marquette and Andy (Ashley) Scheier Jr. of Waukesha; 7 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ethan, Eli, Sophia, Audrey, Gracie and Evelyn; mother, Donna Scheier of Dalton; brothers, Ronald Scheier of North Carolina and Tom (Kathy) Scheier of Dalton; sisters, Cindy (Randy) Galow of Berlin and Debbie (Jim) Palmer of Mayville; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lavern; sister, Bonnie Scheier and two brothers, Brian Scheier and John Scheier. Visitation for Andy will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at Markesan Community Funeral Home. A funeral service for Andy will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at Markesan Community Funeral Home, 868 North Margaret Street, Markesan, with burial to follow at the Marquette Cemetery.
