Wyvonne Fremen April 07, 1934 – February 03, 2020 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Wyvonne Fremen, 85, of Canadian, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020 in Eufaula. The family will greet friends on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bishop Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2020 at Bishop Chapel of Memories with Rev. Chuck Tankersley officiating. Burial will follow at Bower Cemetery east of Eufaula. Pallbearers will be her sons-in-law: David Johnson, Mark Harjo, Jerry Miller, Allen Rodgers, Sam Wright, and Doyle Stuart. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy McCormick, Stacey Rodgers, Robert Rogers, Ralph Horton, Garrett Gray, Vess Neill, and Kenneth McMennamy. Wyvonne was born on April 7, 1934 in Canadian to Albert Shelli “Ted” and Ruthie Grace (Armstrong) Rogers. She and William Archie Fremen were united in marriage on September 10, 1955 in Canadian. Wyvonne was a homemaker and mother of 6 beautiful daughters. Her time was spent sewing, gardening, making certain her girls’ hair and clothing were clean and tidy, and being the greatest wife and mom ever. She was a faithful, life-long member of Canadian Full Gospel Church where she served as the church secretary for many years. Wyvonne and her family were lovingly ministered to by her friends and pastor, Rev. and Mrs. G.C. Gray. Her years were spent enjoying fishing, her new red Buicks, and cooking Sunday dinners for her family. Wyvonne is survived by her beloved husband: Archie Fremen of the home; daughters: Glenda Johnson and husband, David, Carolyn Harjo and husband, Mark, all of Eufaula, Pam Miller and husband, Jerry of Quinton, Anita Rodgers and husband, Allen of Canadian, Geneva Wright and husband, Sam of McAlester, and Debra Stuart and husband, Doyle of Eufaula; 28 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by brothers: Gene Rogers and wife, Ruth of Crowder, John Rogers and wife, Linda of Park Hill, Archie Rogers and wife, Kathy of Quinton, and Teddy Rogers and wife, Diana of McAlester; sisters-in-law: Darlene Rogers of Boswell, Barbara Rogers of Rattan; special friend and caregiver: Tina Wulff; and numerous nieces and nephews. Wyvonne was preceded in death by her parents: Ted and Ruthie Rogers; brothers: James Rogers, Leroy Rogers, Stanley Rogers, and Jerry Rogers; and sister-in-law: Norma Rogers.
