William Michael Clare, 61, of Bay City, our kind and creative, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 27, 2020 with his family by his side. Bill was born in Bay City on November 24, 1958, the son of William James and Rosalie (Uhlmann) Clare. He attended St. John’s School and graduated from Garber High School. Bill was a great fisherman, who was always full of life. He leaves to carry on his legacy, his mother, Rosalie Clare; siblings, Thomas Clare, Lynne (Michael) VanSumeren, Michael (Leslie) Clare, James Clare, and Theresa Primdahl. He was deeply loved and will be forever missed by many nieces, nephews; special aunt, Angela Uhlmann-Ceraso, along with many additional family members and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his father, William James Clare in 2008. Bill’s family will be present to receive visitors on Monday, March 2, 2020 from 1:00 PM until Bill’s 2:00 PM Funeral Liturgy at St. Jude Thaddeus Parish (St. John the Evangelist Church), 614 Pine St., Esville. Fr. Dale Orlik will officiate with the Rite of Committal to be held privately in St. Patrick Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Thaddeus Parish. Arrangements have been entrusted to Skorupski’s – Bay County.
