Troy’s Obituary Troy Blalock Troy Lynn Blalock, age 79, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Thursday, February 13, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Blalock was born June 22, 1940 in Bloomburg, Texas. He was retired from Bumper to Bumper in Texarkana. Troy enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys every chance he got. He was an avid fisherman and loved to read. He was preceded in death by his stepson, Donald “D. J.” James. He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Joyce Blalock of Texarkana, Arkansas; one son and daughter-in-law, Cliff and Kim Blalock of Redwater, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law: Lisa and Sean Nolen of Wake Village, Texas; one stepson, Timothy James of Texarkana, Arkansas; one stepdaughter, Patty Ann James of Texarkana, Arkansas; two sister, Bobbie Priestly of Atlanta, Texas; Lilly Mae Bryant of Mountain Home, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Ashley Chookas, Tanna Anderson, Shane McClure, Christian James, Cheyenne James, Greg James, Blake James, Aaron Avance and Andrew Avance; four great grandchildren, Isabella Chookas, Dax Chookas, Katie Avance and Dalton Avance and a host of friends and other relatives. Funeral Services will be 10:00 A. M. Monday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas with Rev. Robby Watson officiating.
