Terry Lee Lewis, Jr., 76, of Saginaw Twp., our strong-willed and humorous husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on the morning of Friday, February 14, 2020 at HealthSource – Saginaw. Terry was born in Saginaw on November 6, 1943, the son of the late Terry Lee Sr. and Helen (Gordon) Lewis. He was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School and went on to proudly serve in the U.S. Air Force. While at the A & W on State Street, the car he was riding in happened to break down. It’s then when he met the former Judith Ann Hill. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on January 4, 1964. Terry retired from General Motors, where he worked as a machinist at Malleable Iron. Those who knew Terry will forever remember his love of hunting and the outdoors, trapping, attending gun and knife shows with his friend, Ricky, fishing, antiquing, and playing softball in his younger years, where he was the team’s pitcher. Terry was also a member of Masonic Lodge in Saginaw and the Scottish Rite in Bay City. Terry leaves to carry on his legacy, his devoted wife of 56 years, Judy and their two children: Michele (Larry) Morgenstern and Aaron Lewis; grandchildren, Megan (Gavin), Coty (Jennette), Seth (Lisa), Kristen, and Elliott; great-grandchildren, Analeigha, Luke, Jaxson, Addilyn, and Kamryn; siblings, Mike (Gettie) Lewis, Lane (Wasna) Lewis, and Judy Arntz; in-laws, Bob Hill and Linda (Scott) Damarr, along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Terry was welcomed home to heaven by his brother, Jack (Diane); father and mother-in-law, Richard and Agnes (Guthrie) Hill, and in-laws, Barb Hill and Bob Arntz. Terry’s family will be present to receive visitors on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 2:00 PM until Terry’s 4:00 PM Life Celebration at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services (formerly Reitz-Herzberg), 1550 Midland Rd., between State and Gratiot. A reception will follow in The Wesley Room at Skorupski’s. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Saginaw Rescue Mission or the Salvation Army.
