Obituary Sherry Ann Watkins was reunited with her son Austin Wyatt Stults on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at the age of 55. She was able to celebrate her first heavenly birthday with Austin, as she was born on February 24, 1964 in Jacksonville, Illinois to Eugene and Bonnie Watkins. Her adventurous spirit was apparent in everything she did … and she did a lot. She never tired of trying new things, sharing her love of food and all things beauty. In recent years she entertained us with her food and beauty videos. Sherry was loud and bubbly with the ability to make others laugh and it is likely she had an inside joke with every person she met. Her grandsons Stanley and Oscar called her “SheShe” and she adored them. The little family she created with them, along with Sarah and Danny Roach was full of weekly family dinners, walks in the park and creating silly projects together. She was an honorary member of the Lyons family and was blessed with nine Godchildren and therefore double-blessed with an additional 17 “Fairy Godchildren.” She graduated from Waverly High School in 1982 and attended Lake Victoria Beauty Academy. She worked for several local salons while establishing herself as a salon owner and stylist in the community. She was preceded in death by her son Austin Wyatt Stults and Austin’s father Bryan Russell Stults. Sherry is survived by her parents, Eugene and Bonnie Watkins, sisters Tonya Voepel (Dave), Kimberly Alexander, Tracy Bacon and Heather Myers, brother Michael Watkins (Leslie), partner John Hosteny and her pup, Morgan Fairchild, who rescued her. She also gave great advice, whether they wanted it or not, to all of her nieces and nephews, Ellie (Tonya) Zachary, Brittany, Tyler (Kim) Jordan, Brooke (Tracy), Lane, Evan (Michael), Hunter and Chase (Heather). There will be a prayer service at 2pm followed by a Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at New Life Family Church, 303 S. Clover Lane, Auburn.
