Obituary Roberta Lucille (Lowe) Carter, age 83, of Evansville, IN, formerly of Davisburg, MI, and Milford, MI, climbed the stairs to Heaven on Saturday, February 15, 2020, at North River Health Campus. Roberta was born March 12, 1936, in Brooklyn, NY, to Robert Samuel Lowe and Maude (Dowling) Trudeau. She graduated from Milford High School in 1953. Roberta enjoyed knitting, was a choir director at various churches, and she taught private instruction for piano and voice. Roberta is survived by her sons, Bruce Alan Carter (Cindy) of NC, Philip James Carter (Barbara) of MI, Dean Edward Carter (Carol) of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Sarah Jeanne Carter, Erin Elizabeth Garcia (Tony), Scott Philip Carter (Katherine), Alex Jeffrey Carter (Elizabeth), Tori Lynne Ives (Sam) and Shawn Margaret Williams (Calvin); great grandchildren, Felipe James Carter, Lucas Orion Garcia, Emily Foljahn, Hudson Edward Williams and Henry Thomas Ives. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Delores Howard. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2020 at West Highland Baptist Church in Milford, MI.
