Robert’s Obituary Robert G. Powell, 69, of Troy, MO , passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020 at Lincoln County Nursing and Rehab. He was born on October 31, 1950 in Madison, WI to Robert Earl and Hilda (Bisser) Powell. Robert attended the local schools along with his siblings. Robert worked in maintenance at HBJ in Troy for over 20 years. He and Vicki (Creech) were united in marriage in 1991 at Asbury United Methodist Church. To this union was born one son: Curtis. Robert loved NASCAR, working on older Buicks , wood working and watching his son play baseball. He is survived by his sons, Curtis (Delaney)Powell of Troy, Robert B. Powell, step-children; Catherine Bobeen and Chad Creech , several grandchildren, siblings; Sharon (Mike) Smith of Troy, Rick (Debbie) Powell of Elsberry, Mark Powell of Foley, John (Pat) Powell of Foley,his ex-wife, Vicki (Dan) Ruebel of O”Fallon and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
