He was born on June 28, 1960, in Connersville, and is the son of Marcella McKee McDaniels and the late Charles Albert Floyd. He enjoyed going fishing and playing the claw games for prizes at the grocery store. He loved watching country and gospel music on tv, too. Robert often helped on the farm as well. Along with his mother, he is survived by his longtime girlfriend, June DeHaven; two sisters, Debra (John West) Stikeleather and Velvet Moore; two brothers, Donald L. (Jennifer) Floyd and Steven Floyd; his aunt, Laura Jenkins, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Ronnie Floyd. A memorial celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020, at 12:00pm, at Urban-Winkler Funeral Home, Connersville, with Reverend Steven Earlywine officiating. Friends and family may visit an hour before the service, at the funeral home.
