Elizabeth A. Lorenzo ( nee Pabon ), 59 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy with her family by her side.
Elizabeth was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Perth Amboy 43 years ago. She was employed by Perth Amboy Police Department for 30 years as a Crossing Guard. She loved doing arts and crafts, dancing, listening to spanish music and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Elizabeth was selfless, she was always there to lend a helping hand to anybody.
She is preceded in death by her parents Luis Pabon and Sandra ( nee McCleave ) Rasmussen.
She is survived by her beloved companion of 18 years Gilbert Roche; devoted mother of Matilda Lorenzo, Nelson Jr and his wife Omaira Lorenzo; dear sister of Kimberly Cardona, Andres "Andy" and Norma Rasmussen; adored grandmother of Jada Minaya, Aiden and Serena Lorenzo; cherished aunt of many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 1 pm at the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy. Interment will follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Visiting is on Friday from 9 ~ 1pm.
