Raymond Randall Holquinn, 66, passed away Friday, February 7, 2020 in Tijuana B.C. , Mexico. "Randy" was born February 22, 1953 to Louis and Mary Holquinn in Fresno, California, the middle child of three children. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1971.
 
Randy  served as a Police Specialist for the Fresno Police Department for 27 years. Before serving as a Police Specialist, he served on the King's County Sheriff's Department as a Deputy Sheriff.  Randy was a prankster who loved playing jokes on his friends and family.   His final practical joke was played on one of his best friend's Tom Mora and his children.  He loved to cook and enjoyed sharing his food with his family.  His pasole was absolutely delicious.  He enjoyed dove hunting and hunting Bambi and his Mom, much to his daughter's dismay.  He enjoyed playing poker and having a good time.  In his retirement, his favorite activity  was watching TV and falling asleep with the remote in his hand.  Randy was loved by many and will be missed.
 
Randy is survived by his wife, Evelyn; daughters, Kimberly Holquinn, Stephanie Rickert and Jacqueline Holquinn; son Michael  Holquinn; granddaughter, Rebecka Shannon; sister, Anne Hairgrove; Brother, Timothy Holquinn; Mother, Mary Louise Holquinn;  Randy was preceded in death by his father Louis Holquinn and his second wife and love Diana Holquinn.
 

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Belmont Memorial Cemetery at 10:00 AM with Police Chaplin Tony Prendez officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Howard Tello, Bob Lincoln, Justin Hairgrove,  Anthony Guerrero, Scott Guerrero, and Robert Guerrero. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Fresno Police Officer's Association, 994 North Van Ness Avenue, Fresno, California 93728-3428
