Ollie’s Obituary Ollie Mae Brandon Easter, 90, of Linwood went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Alston Brook in Lexington. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Yadkin Baptist Church in Spencer with the Rev. Jason Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday at Davidson Funeral home in Lexington. Mrs. Easter was born in Rowan County on November 27, 1929 to Francis Gould Brandon, Sr. and Ester Mae Loflin Brandon. She was retired from Duracell, having worked in assembly and was a member of Yadkin Baptist Church. Mrs. Easter was a loving mother and grandmother whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John Brandon and Francis “Gould” Brandon, Jr.; and a sister, Dorothy Johnson. Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Michael Easter (Cathy) of Julian, Jimbo Easter of Linwood, Julie Easter of Linwood, and Lisa Easter Simmerson (Randy) of Tyro; four grandchildren, Michael Dalton Easter, Carson Easter Lineberrry (Daniel), Megan Nicole Simmerson (Kate), and Randi Dawn Simmerson Collins (Nathan); and a host of nieces and nephews.
