Obituary Norbit Monroe Horton, 81, of Eldorado, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Harrisburg on February 13, 1939 to the late Norbit Horton and Vernice (Karns) Horton. Norbit proudly served in the Army and was a member of the Masons. He worked as a coal miner at Amax and married to Shirley Ann Vessel who preceded him in death on September 30, 2014. Norbit is survived by his son, Tom (Sandy) Horton of Herald.
