Obituary Nina Everett Blankenship, 100, of Dawson passed away at Dawson Health and Rehabilitation on February 23, 2020. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Harvey Funeral Chapel in Dawson. Pastor Alan Sanders will officiate. A visitation will be held at Harvey Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Mrs. Blankenship was born in Webster County on May 5, 1919 to Henry Everett and Ella Norman Everett. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Blankenship was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Lee Blankenship; son, Roy Blankenship and great-granddaughter, Lindsey Price. Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Anne Bray of Cordele; daughter-in-law, Susie Walker-Powers of Newnan; grandchildren, Trevor Permison of Dawson, Holli Jones of Newman, Jill Wright of Newnan and Denise Bowen of Alabama; and eight great-grandchildren.
