Mark Lee Wells, age 67, of Cleveland, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, February 19th, 2020. He was born June 4th, 1952 in Morrilton, a son of the late James Hamric Wells and his surviving mother, Anna Williams Wells. He was a helicopter pilot for the United States Army and was a member of the Cleveland Missionary Baptist Church. Mark is survived by his wife, Molly Gottsponer Wells and his son, Chris Wells both of Cleveland; one brother, James “Punkin” Wells of Morrilton; one sister, Cherie Brents and his mother, Anna Williams Wells both of Cleveland; as well as a host of family and friends. Other than his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Brad Wells. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 21st, 2020 at the Cleveland Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Paul Sheets officiating. Burial will be at Brents Cemetery near Cleveland under the direction of Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
