Mrs. Marjorie Manning, 84, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020 at her home. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 2 PM in Ayden Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at Farmer Funeral Home. Marjorie was born in Pitt County on January 5, 1936 to the late William and Louvenia McLawhorn Tripp. She spent most of her childhood in the Ayden community and graduated from Ayden High School in June of 1954 as the Salutatorian.
