Obituary Margaret Tubbs Carleton, age 82, of Cameron, NC, died Friday, February 14, 2020 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. She was born in Jewett City, Connecticut on April 13, 1937 to the late Elmo Rodell Mynson and Helen Margaret Davis Mynson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband George William Carleton; son Teddy Simpson and sister Alma Knott. In Margaret’s own words; “The circle is now complete”. Margaret worked many years as a waitress and was an active member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church. She was a lifetime member of DAV Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary. She is survived by a brother-in-law Dick Nott of Maine. She is also survived by her church-family and friends and Beaver Creek Baptist Church. A visitation will be held at Beaver Creek Baptist Church, Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with the funeral service following at 12:00 PM with Pastor Darin Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the Building Fund at Beaver Creek Baptist Church, 2280 Nicholson Road, Cameron, NC 28326.
