Louise Loyd, 94, walked through the Heavenly gates in the presence of her Savior, Monday, February 3, 2020. She was born in Talco, Texas March 27, 1925. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 6, 2020 in the Chapel of McWhorter Funeral Home with Bro. Dicky Mauk and Bro. Mike Kessler officiating. Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2020. Louise married Emory Loyd in Upshur County. She taught school for 36 years in Upshur County Schools and was a member of First Baptist Church. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Paula Loyd Reese; son, Mike Loyd and wife, Ann; grandchildren, Ricky, Kevin and Brad Loyd; Robby Cannon, Jennifer Cannon Mahaar and John Eitel; 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lois Moore; her husband, Emory Loyd; and by her sister, Alice Deaton.
