Obituary Louis P. St. Marie III, 63, passed away on February 9, 2020, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born on July 31, 1956, in Amarillo, Texas, he was the son of Jeanne (Beaudoin) St. Marie and the late Louis P. St. Marie, Jr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister Jeannine St. Marie McCutcheon; brothers, Dennis St. Marie and Jean “Johnny” St. Marie; and nephew Timothy St. Marie. Louis was a life-long member of Divine Mercy Parish St. Michael’s Catholic Church. A well-known restauranteur, he was heavily involved with Au Petit Paris Restaurant where he was maître d’ and sommelier. He was a people person who loved to serve exorbitant dishes, especially flambe recipes and his personal creation, southern praline. He enjoyed listening to music and was a Beatles fan. He passed this love on to his grandchildren. He loved playing pool and the drums, the Boston Red Sox and New Orleans Saints. He loved his family and was hoping to see Lea “walk” for her graduation in May. Surviving are his mother, Jeanne; daughter Andrea St. Marie; granddaughters, Lea Custer and Kenzi Carder; grandson, Brandon Custer; brother-in-law Ray McCutcheon; and nephew Christopher St. Marie. In accordance with his wishes, Louis was cremated and there will be no services. To send flowers to Louis’ family, please visit our floral section.
