Obituary Visiting Hours: Friday, February 28th, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at our Bayport funeral home. Funeral Mass: Saturday, February 29th, 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence RC Church, Sayville. Interment to follow at the parish cemetery. Lorraine H. Mattimore, 81, a resident of Sayville, LI for more than sixty years, died on Wednesday, February 26, 2020. Mrs. Mattimore worked for more than fifty years as a registered nurse including more than twenty years in the Sayville Public School District. Lorraine was a very active member of St. Lawrence RC Church in Sayville where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. Mrs. Mattimore was predeceased by her husband James in 2019. She is survived by her four children, Kathleen Jones and her husband Michael of Philadelphia, James IV of New Jersey, Kevin and his wife Brooke of Blue Point and John and his wife Alanna of Patchogue, her nine grandchildren, Melissa, Megan, Michael, James V, Ryan, Brendan, Sean, Avery and Addison, her great-grandson, Chase, as well as her sister, Dolores Toscano of Florida.
