LEONARD, Lois Ann, 63, of Wheeling, W.Va., died Sunday, February 16, 2020. She was born February 4, 1957, in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Roy and Jacqueline Hunt. She was Catholic by faith and a loyal employee of the Highland’s McDonalds. She was loved not only by her co-workers, but her regular customers at the drive thru. Lois Ann loved to read and do word search puzzles. She was devoted to her dogs and cockatiels, but her biggest joy and blessings were her children, four grandsons, and her outings with her sisters. She did not know a stranger. She had the biggest heart and was always ready to smile. You could not help but love her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Allen “Pat” Phemester. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Larry Leonard; two children, Kimberly Caldwell (Bill Ueltschy), and Thomas E. Caldwell Jr. (Krista Droginske); four grandsons, Aiden, Brenden, Ian, and Owen Ueltschy ; four sisters, Nora Phemester, Denise Jones, Mary Susan (Paul) Parsons; and Kathleen (Michael) Swayngim; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 12 pm until time of funeral service at 5 pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling. Interment in Mount Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.altmeyerfuneralhomes.com
