BARANOWSKI – Leonard W. February 13, 2020 age 93 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn A. (nee Balcerzak); dearest father of Diane Brown (Kurt Lichtenthal), Michael Baranowski (Ginny Burns) and the late Sharon (Philip) Bochenski; dear grandfather of Mark (Teresa) Baranowski, Jared Brown, Justin Baranowski, Johanna “Jenny” (Chris) Connors and the late Eric Brown; great grandfather of Eryk, Lily, Evey and Sara; son of the late Walter and Celia (nee Ceranski) Baranowski; brother of Edmund (Sylvia) Baranowski, late Raymond and the late Frank Baranowski; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Monday February 17 from 4-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.) Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at Resurrection Church (Union Rd. and Como Park Blvd.) at 9:30 AM. (Please assemble at Church) Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Mr. Baranowski was a Navy veteran of WW II, member of UAW Local 897 and Resurrection Holy Name Society.
