Kenneth’s Obituary Kenneth A. Sternberg, 78, of Gladwin, formerly of Bad Axe, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on February 20, 2020 at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Midland Michigan. Kenneth was born on June 22, 1941, in Bad Axe, to the late Oscar and Gertrude Sternberg. Kenneth was one of 15 children. Kenneth married Susan Dickinson, on June 21, 1969. Kenneth worked at Berne Enterprise for many years, and was well known for working on cars and doing body work. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, bowling, reading Westerns, and going to the casino. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 51 years, Susan of Gladwin, his daughter Jennifer (Pat) Kelley of Pierce City, Missouri, his son William of Union, Missouri; grandchildren Katherine Faires, Carl Sternberg, David Sternberg and Elaina Sternberg, two step grandsons; great grandchildren Abagail, and Matthew; his brother Duane (Lucille) Sternberg, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and many brothers and sisters. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date at the Church of the Nazarene, in Gladwin Michigan, with the Rev. Mark Boyce officiating. Per Kenneth’s wishes, cremation will take place at Sunset Valley Crematory. Memorials may be made to the Family discretionary fund.
