She was proceeded in death by her husband Harry Walter Senderling Jr., and her son Donald Keith Senderling. Her life revolved around caring for her large family and enjoying many adventures with them. As a military wife she moved all around the country with her family, including 4 years in Germany. With a large tent and a Volkswagen bus, the family enjoyed many camping trips through Europe. After retiring from the military, the family moved to Garland Texas, where she lived the remainder of her life. She had a great love for nature – especially for flowers and birds. Her backyard was a sanctuary for birds with her several feeders. She and her son Tom spent many hours watching them through the back window. Her yard was her pride and joy, and she mowed her own lawn well into her 70’s. Along with her family, she enjoyed vacations and long weekends at the rustic cabin she and Harry owned at Lake Texoma. She loved to fish, take walks by the lake, and beat everyone at horseshoes. After marrying very young and having so many children, she became a wonderful homemaker – sewing beautifully and cooking wonderful meals. Her homemade “Grandma Rolls” were always the hit of any holiday. Read More
