James Gordon Oldham, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas. He will always be remembered as a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born on May 7, 1932 in Jacksboro, Texas, to James D. Oldham and Louis Taylor. In 1951, as a young adult, James was a volunteer fireman for the City of Keller. Soon after, he joined the Army and served his country for three years. He worked at Bell Helicopter as a welder, ran heavy equipment for Couch Excavating and was a Rodeo Clown in his younger days. James also enjoyed hunting and building knives in his pastime. James is survived by his children; Gerry Don Oldham, Sherry Ivy and husband Greg, Tena Oldham, stepchildren; David Hagler and wife Gaylene, Sandra Clark and Husband David, Linda Higgs and husband Terry, Roger Hagler and wife Monica, Sister; JoAnn Oldham Bynum, brothers; David Oldham and wife Billie, Wendel Oldham and wife Corky, Henry Oldham and wife Judy, Richard Oldham, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Shirley Oldham, brother; John Wayne Oldham, and grandson; Greg Ivy Jr. Pallbearers include; Charles Oldham, Wesley Oldham, J.R. Oldham, Joey Oldham, Kenneth Oldham, and Fern Bombardier Visitation will be held from 10:00-12:00 on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Lucas Funeral Home located 1601 S. Main St. Keller, TX 76248.
