Obituary Irene M. (Pouliot) Fratianni, 93, of Coventry, CT beloved wife of the late Michael Fratianni, passed away at home with her family by her side. She was born in Clinton, Maine on June 9, 1926 to the late Amede & Justine (LaPierre) Pouliot, the middle child of 13 siblings. They all shared the core values of respect, kindness and family, of which she shared with her son, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great granddaughter. She leaves behind, Anthony & Linda Fratianni of Franklin, Michael & Kimberly Fratianni of Salem, Toni & Chris Coombs of Columbia, Sara Wilcox of Mansfield, and their respective children: Michael Fratianni and Ava Fratianni, Brittany, Haley & Jaxon Coombs, Delilah Rose Wilcox and Joshua Wilcox. Irene and her husband owned and operated the Village Restaurant in Coventry, CT for over 30 years. They were a main staple of the community of which they enjoyed for over 50 years. Irene also enjoyed traveling with her husband, and later in life with her sisters, Rita LaVoie and Ann LaBrec, aka “The Three Amigos”. She had a full life and the love of her family. A special thank you to her personal caregivers and Hospice care whose efforts shined a bright light for us to follow. Irene’s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 9:00am to 10:00am at St. Mary Church, 1600 Main St. Coventry, with her Funeral Mass beginning at 10:00am.
