Hilda Rose Wilson June 7, 1935 – February 29, 2020 Hilda Rose Wilson, 84, of Bay Springs, Mississippi, died Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Jasper County Nursing Home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. She was born Friday, June 7, 1935 in Jasper County, Mississippi. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 2, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Mt Nebo Cemetery and the Burial will follow in Mt Nebo Cemetery. Bro. Steve Holloway will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181 Hilda was a member of Old Mt. Nebo Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was a loving wife for over 51 years, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a friend to all who knew her. Her hobbies were collecting chickens and humming birds and enjoyed beautiful flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Gayle Wilson, parents, Clarence Jackson and Emmie Catherine Keyes, brothers, L.C. Keyes, Clarence Franklin Keyes. Survivors include her son, Stephen Gayle Wilson, daughter, Stephanie Harrington, son, Stanley Max Wilson, daughter, Sarah Catherine Holifield (Brad), grandchildren, Jessica Rose Rogers (Michael), Amanda Gail Wilson, Brittany Windham (Jared), Garrett Yelverton, Bailey Catherine Holifield, Elyjah Max Holifield, great-grandchildren, Maggie Rose Rogers, Jakob Windham, Emmie Windham, John Ross Windham, sister, Emily Jo Dyess and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Steve Wilson, Stanley Wilson, Jared Windham, Garrett Yelverton, Brad Holifield and Michael Rogers. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Dyess and Jimmy Dyess.
