Hazel “Rinnie” I. Smith, age 59, of Afton, OK passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Integris Grove Hospital. Rinnie was born on June 25, 1960 in Tulsa, OK. Her parents were Shirley and Newll Coffman. She graduated from Glencoe High School. Rinnie worked as a custodian at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater and later at Northeastern A & M College in Miami. On May 8, 1998, Rinnie married Peter Smith in Miami, OK. She is preceded in death by her father. Left to cherish her memory: husband, Peter Smith of the home, daughters, Ryi Spencer of Monkey Island, OK, Brigett Broyles and husband, Luke of Stillwater, OK, and Erin Smith on Aurora, MO; mother, Shirley Coffman, brother, Leonard Coffman and wife, Angela of Ripley, OK and 4 grandchildren. Private family services are planned at a later date. The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
