Glonda’s Obituary Glonda Fae (Samples) Burden lovingly known as “Glondie Fae”, 84 of Quinlan, TX passed away on February 20, 2020. She was born on October 26, 1935 to Henry and Lillie Mae Samples in Kingston, TX. Glonda was a faithful member of Cash Baptist Church. She was a waitress and mother all of her life. Glonda enjoyed working outside including gardening she had a green thumb and could grow anything. She loved sitting on her back porch swing watching squirrels and rabbits. Glonda is survived by her children, Rhonda Wells and her husband Royce, Bobby Anderton and his wife Debbie, Sherry Womack and Terry Burden; Grandchildren, Rickey and his wife Angie, Shane, Brandi, Josh and his wife Jessica, Amanda and her husband Mike, Candice and her husband Victor, Brooke and her husband Neil, Hannah, Colton, Cheyenne, Misty, Brandon, and Caleb; great grandchildren, Bailey, Brooklyn, Kensley, Ashlynn, Chance, Hadley, Shana, Stormy, Christopher,Courtlan, Avery, Brinkley, Harper, Carson, Cooper, Raya, Keegan, Kiern, Korbin, and Jaston; great great grandchildren, Lillian and one on the way; sister, Hazel Combs, along with a host of loving relatives and friends. Glonda is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Herbert Samples, Era Pinson, Veta Russel, and Hulon Samples. A Funeral Service will be held at Lynch Funeral Service Chapel in Greenville, TX on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 11 AM with Rev. Larry Combs officiating and there will be a visitation one hour prior to service. Read More
