Gary’s Obituary ROCKFORD – Gary Milton Squier, age 85, of Rockford passed away peacefully Monday February 17, 2020. Born in Rockford on October 10, 1934 to Edwin & Ethel Squier (Turngren). A proud Veteran of the United States Navy and graduate of Rockford East High School and Wabash College, Gary enjoyed reading and tinkering on his many projects. His true pride and joy was his family. Beloved father, grandfather, brother and dear friend; he will remain forever in our hearts. He is survived by his children, Becky Squier, Jennifer Jaenicke, Steven Squier and Ashley Squier; grandchildren, Alex, Austin, Audrey, Hannah, Nolan and Camden; great grandson, Kacen; sister, Shirley (late Marshall) Johnson; brother-in-law, Dick Phillips; and nieces, Kristy & Sherri. He is predeceased by his parents; and sister, Marilyn Phillips. Graveside Services with Military Honors held Thursday February 27, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Arlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
