Florence’s Obituary Florence Emma Bowen passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020. She was born November 8, 1931 in Mobile, Alabama to the late Daniel Grover Logan and Florence Emma (Broadus) Logan. Florence was a homemaker for most of her life and lived in various states during that time. Later in life, Florence held several jobs such as a laundromat attendant, cashier and caretaker. She loved her family more than anything and was known for her baked macaroni and cheese at family gatherings. She loved hummingbirds and babies. She enjoyed gardens, watching television and playing bingo. She was an extremely strong lady with an ability to endure most anything placed before her. She was a quiet person who enjoyed making people laugh. Florence is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Logan and Florence Logan; siblings, Earl Logan, Carl Logan, Norman Logan, Ruby (Ruth) Norris, and Voncile Cato; children, Sheila Gerhardt, Harry Iannotti, Christopher Iannotti and Michael Iannotti. She is survived by her children, Diane Galloway (Bo), Katrena Iannotti and Marsha Owens (Jeff); brothers, Alvin Laverne Logan, Sr. and Murray Logan; ten grandchildren and numerous great-granchildren and other relatives. Florence will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 15, 2020 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating. Read More
