Obituary Cheraw, SC Mrs. Emily Rivers Branham, age 78, entered into rest on Monday, February 24, 2020. Graveside services will be 4:00 PM Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Brock’s Mill Baptist Church Cemetery by Pastor Allen Usher. The family will receive friends at the home on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. Mrs. Branham was born August 15, 1941 in Cheraw, SC a daughter of the late Wilson Rivers and Ruth Teal Rivers Clark. She was a homemaker and member of Brock’s Mill Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Branham was a self-taught talented artist. She also enjoyed playing the guitar, gardening, and fishing. Her favorite hobby was spending time with her grandchildren, hiking through the woods and teaching them to crawfish in the backyard. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Branham was also preceded in death by her daughter, Marsha Branham Mackey; and 3 brothers, Harvey, Ralph, and Larry Rivers. Survivors include her husband of nearly 50 years, Raymond G. Branham of the home; children, Ken (Glory) Rivers of Cheraw, SC, Sharon (Stephen Faurote) Branham of Cheraw, SC, Glenn Branham of Bennettsville, SC, Allen Branham of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Faron (Cathi) Branham of Pompano Beach, FL, Ruth (Tim) Gregory of Biloxi, MS, Cindy Griggs of Jacksonville, FL, and Harvey Eugene Rivers of Cheraw, SC; 16 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, sister, Thalia Hancock of Mt.
