Elizabeth Mae Reilly, 97, of Jim Thorpe, PA, formerly of West Easton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the home of her son and daughter-in-law. Born September 7, 1922, in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Pearl (Smith) Eichman. Her husband of 51 years, Hugh P. Reilly, passed away May 3, 2002. Mae graduated from Easton High School Class of 1940. She was last employed as a cook at Avona Elementary School, Wilson Borough. Mae enjoyed reading, family and church. A woman of compassion, kindness, integrity and love, especially for her family and friends, she had a way of making others feel accepted and good about themselves. Mae was an active member of First Moravian Church where she was a member of the Anna Nitschmann Guild and Martha’s Circle. Surviving are a son, Patrick Reilly and his wife Pam, of Jim Thorpe; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Ware and her husband John, Meghan Reilly and her husband Chris Pincin and Kathleen Reilly; four great-grandchildren, Leah, Olivia, Harrison and Genevieve; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Alfred, Charles, James and David Eichman and two sisters, Belva Fuhr and Jane Komisor. Services will be held at 11am Friday in First Moravian Church, 225 N. 10th Street, Easton. Call Friday 10-11am in the church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.
