Elizabeth’s Obituary Elizabeth Jeanette Lamberth, 82, of Jonesboro passed from this life Friday, February 14, 2020 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born to the late Court Prentiss and Maude Elizabeth Davis on July 23, 1937 in Brinkley, Arkansas. Jeanette lived all of her adult life residing in Jonesboro and was a lifetime member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church where she served on the vestry and was a long time member of the choir. She was a 1955 Jonesboro High school graduate. Jeanette worked in the registrar’s office at Arkansas State University for many years and was a very proud supporter of the Indians! In her last couple years with the mental health center, Jeanette traveled the state presenting the public with education on rape crisis, and rape prevention holding the title of Consultation Education Director. Jeanette ended her full time working career as a successful insurance agent for AETNA. In her spare time, she loved to dance. The family spent weekends camping, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors. Jeanette volunteered for many years in the special Olympics and was honored to serve on the board of the Arkansas State Special Olympics for Area 7. Most of all, Jeanette loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
