SHIRLEY: Edmond P. “Neil” Coss, 64, of Shirley, formerly of Maynard, died Tuesday morning, February 25, 2020. Neil was born in Concord, on March 1, 1955, a son of the late Victor and Florence (O’Connell) Kosinski and was a 1973 graduate of Concord Carlisle High School. He was currently employed by Case Transportation in Acton and was a talented author who had self-published three books. Neil enjoyed spending time with his many grand children more than anything in this world. He was an avid reader and a huge sports fan. Football Sundays were his most treasured time to spend with friends and family. Writing was his ultimate passion. His wit, humor and sarcasm will forever live on. To everyone he was Papa, Daddy and brother. He leaves his wife of 37 years, Robbin M. (McGowan) Coss of Shirley; a son, Gregory M. Coss of Buffalo, NY; a daughter, Stephanie A. Coss-Grimm and her husband Charles of Shirley; a brother Victor Coss of Halethorpe, MD ; a sister, Valerie DiRenzo of Littleton; seven grandchildren, Aidan Coss, Victoria Coss, Cameron Coss, Kyler Coss, Elijah Grimm, Cassandra Coss and Emmeline Grimm; many nephews and nieces. His family will receive family and friends on Sunday, March 1, from 1 to 3 PM followed by a time of remembrance at 3PM in the Anderson Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Rd., Ayer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that dotations be made to Neil’s go fund me page or if you would like to purchase one of his books so that his words can live on forever.
