Devon Pfirsching Aug. 24, 2004 – Feb. 25, 2020 Devon Pfirsching, 15, of Altoona, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday. He was born in Altoona, son of Kurt Pfirsching and Misty Forlina. Surviving are his parents; a sister, Destinee Pfirsching (Tyler Lepore); grandparents, Karl and Sue Pfirsching; aunts and uncles: Dave and Michelle Auker and Colton and Dawn Frick; cousins: Justin, Dylan and Madison Auker and Adriana and Brayden Frick; several great-aunts and great-uncles; and a special friend, Morgan Kearney. Devon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Candace Forlina; and by his great- grandparents, Karl and Betty Pfirsching. He was a 10th grade student at Altoona Area High School. Devon enjoyed football, Steelers, wrestling, dirt bikes, the Adrenaline Brothers, music, hanging out with friends and family, traveling and the beach. Devon was big hearted; he loved adventure, always had an open mind and trusted everyone. He always had a smile on his face, was a jokester and was loved by everyone. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2020, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2020, at the funeral home, Pastor Jim Kilmartin officiating. Interment will take place in Alto-Reste Park.
