Obituary Torrington- Dana Marie Alfano, 51, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Dana was born in Torrington on March 11, 1968, daughter of the late Barbara (Mancino) Alfano, and had been a lifelong city resident. She attended Torrington High School and graduated from Computer Processing Institute with a degree in computer programming. Dana had worked for the Coffee Station for 13 years as a customer associate and had been previously employed by the Hartford Insurance Company. Survivors include her son, Jeffrey Timothy Alfano, who is serving our Country as a U.S. Marine. Jeffrey was the joy of Dana’s life and meant the world to her. She is also survived by her sister, Lynn Alfano Moulthrop and her husband Gary of Torrington; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her pet pug, “Gabby Goo”. In addition to her mother, Dana was predeceased by her sister, Lisa Alfano; and grandmother, Antoinette Richardone Mancino. Friends may call Friday, February 21, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington. Burial will be private.
