Jimmy Clyde Cox Cotton Valley, LA Mr. Jimmy Clyde Cox, age 76, of Cotton Valley, LA passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020 in Minden, LA. Mr. Cox was born on April 17, 1943 to Davis Gray and Lila Idelle Harvey Cox in Cotton Valley, LA. He was a retired from Hollingsworth Construction, Minden, LA and he enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and he dearly loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Linda Lowrey Cox of Cotton Valley, LA; two sons, Jeff Cox and wife, Renee, Randy Cox and wife, Denise; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruby Boyd and husband, Eugene of Cotton Valley, LA, Marie Benson and husband, Dee of Blackburn, LA; brothers, Jerry Cox and wife, Mamie of Shongaloo, LA, and Wallace “Cotton” Cox and wife, Florence of Crane, TX. Mr. Cox was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Margie Perry, Odessa Cox; brothers, Walter Cox, Davis Cox; and grandsons, Tyler Cox and Hunter Cox. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. Cremation services are provided by Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.
