Clara’s Obituary Clara N. Marten, 98, of La Habra, CA died Sunday, February 16, 2020 at her home with her daughter by her side. She was born in Dallas, Wisconsin on March 1, 1921 to Perry and Charlotte Kahl. She lived in Wisconsin before moving to California in the 1950’s. Clara was a devout Christian woman who did ministry work in many countries praying for the sick and lost. She loved to sing and was part of many choirs including the Kuhlman Choir as well as many years in the Melodyland Christian Church choir and musical productions. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ardell Marten in 2005; her son Ronald Minto; her two sisters, Lorraine Kahl and Eunice Westland and her two brothers Charles Kahl and Donald Kahl. Survivors include her son, Keith Minto of Berthoud, CO; her daughter RaNae Williams of La Habra, CA; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at East Whittier Friends Church to be determined at a later date. Read More
