Charles Leroy Pepper, 92 of Calion, AR passed away Friday, February 28, 2020 at John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, AR. Charles was born September 5. 1927 in El Dorado, AR to the union of William Frank Pepper and Emma Rae Everett Pepper. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Joan McKenzie Pepper, five children and ten siblings. Charles was a security guard at South Arkansas Community College and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was an avid fisherman and was called “Bream Man” Survivors include his daughter, Tina Carroll and husband Ken of El Dorado, AR one son Barry Charles Pepper of Calion, AR, ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Bailey Funeral Home in El Dorado, AR Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2020 at the Champagnolle Cemetery in Calion, AR with Rev.
