Bonnie’s Obituary Bonnie Lee Mellies, 90 died January 31, 2020 in Leonardville, KS. She was born on October 30, 1929 in Clay County, the daughter of Carl and Marie (Henry) Pfizenmaier. Bonnie was raised in the Green and Morganville communities. She was a graduate of Morganville High School class of 1947 and attended Brown Mackie College in Salina. Bonnie married Charles H. Mellies on May 25, 1948. They farmed in the Morganville area their entire married life. Charles preceded her in death on August 31, 1997. Bonnie was a member of Swedesburg Lutheran Church, Dorcus and Crawford Club. She was also preceded in death by parents; sisters, Arlene Carlson and Joann Brown.
