He enjoyed fishing, gardening and being outdoors. He loved growing peas, tomatoes, potatoes and squash. Billy loved spending time with his grandchildren; they were his whole world just as he was theirs. He worked in the oil field as a “roughneck” for a living. He was an excellent mechanic, always working on cars, four-wheelers, and other small engines. Billy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Those left to cherish Billy’s memory include his two sons, Michael DeWayne Humphries and wife, Margaret, of Kinder and Billy “B.J.” Humphries of Kinder; one daughter, Stacy Brown of Dequincy; one brother, Robert Humphries and wife, Jackie, of Sugartown; and six grandchildren. Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Vera Humphries; one daughter, Tiffany Myers; and one brother, Hollis Humphries. Read More
