Obituary Ashley Floyd Essman, 48, of Charleston, Arkansas entered into rest on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 in Fort Smith. She was born February 15, 1972 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Ashley was a devoted LPN. She loved her crafts, bows, hats, blankets and trips to Eureka Springs. Spending time with her grandchildren. She was everybody’s nurse. She also loved blaring music especially Eric Church. She was preceded in death by her father; Roy Gene Floyd and her step father; Lee Roy Booker. Survivors include her husband; Jarrod Essman, her daughters; Kaitlyn Floyd of Sugarloaf and Kelsey King of Charleston; one son Hayden Essman; her mother, Billie June Floyd Booker; sister; Amy Hunter , Tammy Essman and Pam Huggins all of Charleston; nephew; Michael Hunter and Niece; Kinlee Sears and three grandchildren Peighton and Hunter King and Brennan Lopez. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Smith Mortuary Chapel, Charleston, Arkansas with interment at Nixon Cemetery officiated by Reverend Jimmy Cook. Family will receive friends Friday, February 21, 2020 6:00 p.m.until 8:00 p.m. at Smith Mortuary, Charleston, Arkansas. To send flowers to Ashley’s family, please visit our floral section.
