Angela Lynn Phillips, age 62, passed through the gates of Heaven on February 4, 2020 surrounded at home by her longtime loving partner, John Robinette and her daughters. She was born on August 18, 1957 in Columbus and was raised by parents, Jimmy Dale and Margaret Cremeans. Angela was known for spontaneously breaking into song and the great sense of humor she had. She never knew a stranger, made friends everywhere she went, and was often called mom by anyone and everyone. She was very much loved. Angela was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Jimmy Dale and Margaret, baby brother, Lancer Cremeans, and several aunts and uncles. Angela leaves behind her children, Tearsa (Ray) Quillen, Anthony Meade, and Anna (Alberto Marquez) Phillips; unofficially adopted children, Kimberly Morris and Janice Dawson; grandchildren; Jacquelynne and Anthony, Adyanna, Alycea, Ronald, Gage, and Troy, Sylas Thida, Nick, Chiya, Jayna, and Victoria; great grandchildren, Xavier and Jayce, and Jaycee and Marilyn; siblings, Tony Twigg and Jody Hiatt; sister-in-love, Bobbin’ Robin Phillips; nieces and nephews, T.J., Jamie, Chrissy, Nikki, Jessie, and Mikey; special friends and neighbors, Kimberly and Chad, Barb and Vic, Lori, Shawn, and Reba; friends through the years and miles; and many, many other dear friends and family. A celebration of her life will be held from 4 PM until time of service at 6 PM at the O. R. Woodyard South High Chapel, 1346 S. High St, on Saturday, February 8, 2020. Angela would not have wanted anyone to be sad during this time so please show up wearing something red to honor her, whether big or small. In lieu of flowers, prayers and donations are accepted to go towards the cost of the funeral through O.R. Woodyard Co. or a Go Fund Me has been set up for Angela. Special thanks to Zusman Hospice, especially Julie and Phyllis who took wonderful care of Angela, and also to Michelle who was such a constant companion. Thank you for always keeping her smiling and making this time of her life so joyful. Thank you to all of those who have touched her life.
