Obituary Agatha L. Elliott, 92, died Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Pineview Cottage in Harbor Springs. Agatha was a resident of Petoskey and Frankfort, Michigan and formerly of Troy, Michigan and Cape Coral, Florida. Agatha was born November 19, 1927, in Bay City, Michigan, the daughter of Harvey and Edna LaForest. She married Hugh J. Elliott on June 25, 1949 in Royal Oak, Michigan. They were active members of Calvary Baptist Hazel Park and Troy Baptist (Woodside Bible) Churches. Her family includes her four children: Sherrie Elliott (Larry Shubel) of Petoskey, Michigan; David (Andrea) Elliott of North Liberty, Iowa; Debbie (Forrest) Nicholas of Franklin, Tennessee; and Diane (Robert) Aycoth of Greenwood, Delaware. She was an amazing grandmother of Eric, Becky and Sarah Elliott; Nathaniel and Naomi Nicholas; and Erica, Aaron, Andrew and Ryan Aycoth. Agatha was preceded in death by her parents, her three brothers and four sisters, and her husband (2007). A memorial service will be held at a later date.
