He is survived by his brother & sister-in-law, Brent & Karen Mars; nephew, John Brent Mars, Jr.; niece & spouse, Callie & J.C. Thompson; niece & spouse, Shelby & Trey Robinson; great nephew, Robert Thompson. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Bates Cooper Sloan Chapel.
