Obituary Robert Dean Gallion Sr, age 80, of Glenmont, Ohio passed away Friday morning, January 10th, 2020 at Pomerene Hospital, Millersburg, Ohio following a period of declining health. Robert was born August 13th, 1939 in Holmes County Ohio and was the son of Bernard and Mary Elizabeth (Still) Gallion Sr. On July 23rd, 2005 he married Kathy (Fleming) Stiltner and she survives. Robert was a former National Guard and a member of the Long Riffle Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and wood carving, specializing in making canes and he loved his dogs. Surviving in addition to his wife Kathy are three children, Ruth Elizabeth (Harry) Ragusin of McHenry, Illinois, Roberta (Chad) Curry of Millersburg, Ohio and Robert Dean Jr. (Stephanie) Gallion of Lakeville, Ohio; two stepchildren, Elizabeth Ann (Robert) Tittle of Mansfield, Ohio and Russell Daniel Stiltner of Millersburg, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his mother, Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Gallion of Massillon, Ohio; siblings, Tina (Neil) Dorow, Bernie Gallion Jr. and Tim Gallion; two sisters-in-law, Judy Gallion and Carol Gallion; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Gallion Sr. and siblings, Dale Gallion, Tom Gallion and Wayne Gallion. To send flowers to Robert’s family, please visit our floral section.
