Jeanette’s Obituary Jeanette grew up in the Beaumont area as one of seven children. She attended the University of St. Thomas where she earned her undergraduate degree. Her Master of Education was earned at the University of Houston. She devoted her life to her faith, her family and to the field of education. She was a teacher, an elementary school principal, supervisor of student teachers, and the author of a school discipline program. She traveled extensively giving workshops and presentations to educators in the United States and Guam. During her retirement, Jeanette was very involved at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church. She also volunteered her time to help others. Her favorite volunteer job was teaching English to any adult who wanted to learn. She is survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Friday, January 31, 2020 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church. Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary recited at 7:00 PM. Interment Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 7801 Gulf Fwy, Dickinson, Texas following mass on Friday.
