Irene Worley, 65, of Bristol, Virginia passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Bristol, TN on May 24, 1954 a daughter of the late Fred Seymore and Georgia Virginia Shores. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Sue Cleo Shores Harless and Cletia Christine Shores. Irene was a native of Bristol. She worked as an inspector for various plants in Bristol. Irene enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with her family and grand babies, painting and writing poems. Virginia is survived by her daughter, Penny Snead and husband James; granddaughter, Paige Cox; four great grand children, Brayden Tate, Griffin Porter, Kyle Cox, and Jaydlen Peace; sister Kitty Blaylock; best friend Kenneth Horton. There are no services planned at this time.In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Memorials Processing 501 St Jude Place, Memphis , TN, 38105-9959.
