Eva Toczynski (nee: Golaszewski), 64, of Bayonne, entered into eternal rest on December 25, 2019, at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, with her loving family by her side. Born in Poland, Eva emigrated to the United States in 1980, residing in Bayonne for the past 39 years. Eva was employed for many years as a nursing assistant at CarePoint-Bayonne Medical Center. In her leisure time she found peace and relaxation in gardening as well as traveling abroad to various destinations with family, friends and church groups. Above all else, nothing made Eva happier than spending time with her grandchildren, all of whom she loved and adored. Eva was predeceased by her beloved husband Tadeusz (in 2017), her parents, Edward and Leonia (Milewska) Golaszewski, and her sister, Anna Stypulkowski. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Anna Fields and her husband Matthew, her son Tommy Toczynski and his wife Bozena, her five grandchildren, Jacob, Anthony, and Gabriela Toczynski, and William and Andrew Fields, and her niece, Ewa Stypulkowski-Choi and her husband Colin. A visitation will be held at the Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home on Sunday, December 29, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. A funeral mass in Polish will be offered in Eva’s honor on Monday, December 30, at 11:00 a.m., from the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt.
